AE DIL HAI MUSHKIL continues its decent run on its second Monday and has done had a pretty good run till now and is close to 100 crore nett. The film collected in the 2.25-2.50 crore nett range on its second Monday and the second week is heading for 24 crore nett apprx which will be the fifth highest second week collection of the year. The drop week on week is looking to be 69% which is decent trend. The two plusses for the film was the opening in India despite pre Diwali and its Overseas business, these are the two factors that have taken the film to HIT status. The film is looking to close its business somewhere around the 110 crore nett mark which would take it just above HOUSEFULL 3 if it was to get there.

Looking at it in hindsight this film could have come a week earlier where a bigger opening day number (due to no clash) would have enabled it to put a similar first week as it did and then take advantage of Diwali week which would have resulted in a higher second week (holiday factor) even though SHIVAAY would have been there. As it was an urban film the pre Diwali affect was limited and that 13 crore nett start would have been 25-30% more a week earlier without the clash.
