A bash has been planned on the sets of his upcoming film with live musicians today

Shah Rukh and wife Gauri Khan are set to ring in their 25th wedding anniversary today in the Spanish countryside with their three-year-old-son AbRam. The 50-year-old actor-producer who has been filming Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film, tentatively titled The Ring, across Europe was joined by wife and son earlier this month in Budapest. The family continued to travel together to Vienna, Prague and Barcelona, with SRK continuing to film with leading lady, Anushka Sharma. While, Anushka wrapped up her portions on October 18, SRK will be shooting till the month-end.

A small bash has been planned on the sets for SRK and Gauri. The unit and a few friends will party with the couple after pack up. “A wedding cake has been ordered and there will be live musicians to bring in the special day,” reveals a source adding that when they return to Mumbai, a grand double celebration is being planned for Diwali and the post silver anniversary bash and invites are currently being sent out.

A large group of SRK’s female fans from Germany and France will also be landing on the sets with cakes and gifts and are hoping for lots of selfies as return gifts. Shah Rukh and Gauri had tied the knot on October 25, 1991, after six years of courtship.

In an interaction in 2010, SRK had recalled the pandemonium on his wedding day. “Normally, the dulha comes on the ghoda and isn’t supposed to see his bride till the pheras are over. But the car that was supposed to pick Gauri up after her make-up conked off and panic struck because the muhurat was at a fixed time. So I picked her up, dropped her, went back and returned on a horse. Halfway through, I changed from a horse to an elephant. Climbing the elephant was a problem, and my friends literally pushed me up,” he’d revealed, flashing those famous dimples.
