Ram Madhvani, who helmed the critically and commercially acclaimed hit Neerja, has revealed plans of his next project. It will be a ‘mythological, he says.

“I am going to be a little superstitious and not speak about it too much, but what I would like to say is that I am interested in the mythology genre. We haven’t seen a mythological film for a long time in India. I don’t know why we aren’t exploring exploring the genre. I want to make a mythological devotional film. There are a few scripts that we are working on and with the success of Neerja people are ready to back us.”

Neerja starring Sonam Kapoor released earlier this year and was in the race for India’s official entry to Oscars 2017.
