On Friday, Abhishek Bachchan flew to Chennai with friend Bunty Walia to root for his soccer team, Chennaiyin FC, which is taking on Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna’s Kerala Blasters today. The journey clearly wasn’t smooth as the Jet Airways flight was delayed for an hour-and-a-half due to “non-availability” of pilots.

So, AB, having boarded the flight and fastened his seat-belt, was left waiting and hoping for the pilots. The flight which was scheduled to depart at 10.30 am only took off at around 11.50 am.

“Question - if an airline is delayed, do we as passengers have the option to get off, like how passengers are off loaded if they are late?” Abhishek groused on the social media, adding, “Hey, @jetairways just to let you know that the entire aircraft is still waiting for you'll to get in touch. Also, what is operational reasons?”

Mirror reached out to the airlines too for an answer, but the airline didn’t answer after promising to revert in a couple of hours. We’re still waiting and hoping.
