When you’re playing a Michael Jackson fan in a film, you go all out. And so, Tiger Shroff who’s already got killer moves of his own, will head to Los Angeles soon to train under choreographers who’ve toured with MJ on his legendary tours, for his next Munna Michael. In fact, they will also serve as consultants on the film.

MM has him playing a street boy from Teen Batti in Mumbai, who loves dancing and grows up idolising MJ. Says director Sabbir Khan, “We are talking to top-of-the-line choreographers in LA who have done films like Step Up and worked with the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé as well. We are in the process of zeroing in on them.”

Tiger’s LA trip will last a week and will see him be part of a dance camp under these select international choreographers. “Once he trains and dances with the best, it can set the ball rolling,” says Sabbir.

The film will have multiple choreographers. “There are about seven or eight songs in the film and we are trying to get the best for almost every song,” shares the director who intends to finalise the list soon. Though there will be desi choreographers on board, as well, the overall supervision and consultation will be done by Hollywood choreographers, who will be flown down whenever required.

Once Tiger is back from LA (sometime during the last week of this month), shooting begins on MM. Well, here’s to seeing Tiger mastering the moonwalk!
