On Monday, Salman Khan hosted a private bash at his sea-facing Bandra residence which turned into an eventful all-nighter with Hollywood actor Will Smith also making an appearance. In the thick of the revelry, the 50-year-old actor announced that he would love to marry his steady date, Iulia Vantur, who incidentally was on the scene, on his parents' 52nd wedding anniversary. Salim Khan tied the knot with Sushila Charak, rechristened Salma Khan, on November 18, 1964. Salman has always been extremely close to his parents.

“He further stated that it will be a quiet ceremony and only 15-20 people will be present for the nuptials,“ reveals a guest, adding that the much-in-love couple have been spending time together painting at Salman's Karjat farmhouse. “At the party too, it was evident that not just Salman but even his family adores Iulia.“

The 36-year-old Romanian model-actress first visited India on a tourist visa in 2011 and, having struck up a friendship with Salman, returned a year later on a work visa. Salman opened the doors of his Karjat farmhouse to her and though her Bollywood career didn't quite take off, she did land a special appearance in his sister Alvira and hubby Atul Agnihotri's 2014 film, O Teri.

Iulia's work visa was extended when Salman got her a singing gig in his 2016 wrestling-drama Sultan. She crooned a duet with him. Since then, she has travelled with him to Leh-Ladakh where he was shooting Kabir Khan's upcoming film, Tubelight. She was there to film a documentary in the mountains. Next up, she will record a reprised version of “Main Hoon Hero“ from Salman's home production, Hero, this month.

Mirror has however learnt that Iulia's visa expires in November and she will have to fly back to Romania. Even if she re-applies immediately, she can only return to the Bay after three months. Will Salman prevent this exit with an “I do“ to keep Doamna Khan by his side?
