With Suncros, India's number 1 sunscreen recommended by dermatologists*, now you have all the reason to have a healthy and well-looked after skin for all seasons. Dia Mirza, the brand ambassador, talks to us about her experience shooting the first TV commercial and her take on the product.

Why did you decide to endorse a sunscreen brand?
A lot of women ask me questions like, 'what is your skin secret', but nobody asks me what sun protection I use. I firmly believe that any skin health regimen starts with sun protection, followed by everything else. In our country, the awareness regarding UV damage is extremely low and by endorsing a sunscreen brand, I want to do my part of influencing whatever few people I can. I believe that the brand I endorse should have their values similar to mine. With this product, I saw a lot of similarities, since it comes from an ethical background and understands the needs of its consumers. The brand does not do any animal testing.

Have you tried Suncros? If yes, what do you like about it?
Yes, I use it. In fact, the texture of the soft gel is so smooth and non-oily that for the first time I believe I'll be able to use it under my make-up. My skin is very sensitive, but this product works perfectly for me since it doesn't have any chemical filters, which makes it irritant-free.

How was your experience while shooting for the TVC?
It was a fun-filled day of shoot with an early start, since we had an outdoor and indoor setup. Being an outdoor shoot in sunny Mumbai, the entire crew got a first-hand experience of the product. The team was very easy to work with. It was a comfortable shoot.

Would you recommend this sunscreen to others?
Oh definitely! Firstly, I would recommend everyone to make sunscreen a part of their daily skin regimen, whether it is indoor or outdoor, sunny or cloudy, summer or winter. Secondly, I would absolutely recommend Suncros Soft - since the texture is beautiful and will make your skin look completely non-greasy with maximum UV protection. To get your screen test and know the UV damage to your skin, go visit a dermatologist!
