While the trailer of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's intense love story Mirzya shows us a glimpse of the passion between the lead couple, apparently the team on the set believed that Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher didn't really get along during the shoot. However, the actor explained what could have sparked the rumour.

He says, “It took us long to break the ice. I have never met someone like Saiyami as I am used to urban women, while she is not such a city person. I didn't talk to her for the first three months, so people thought we didn't get along, which was not true. If you see the film now, you will know that it's paid off in a good way. We were two people, who were not familiar with each other. Now, we feel like we have known each other forever. So, the transformation on screen is pretty organic, just the way it is supposed to be in the film.“

He adds, “Being the person I am, I kept away from Saiyami intentionally. I didn't go out of the way to spend time with her. I would say that Saiyami and I have an unpredictable chemistry; it just happens with some people.“
