Yesterday Shobaa De was at the receiving end of Twitterati’s ire when she tweeted “Goal of Team India at the Olympics: Rio jao. Selfies lo. Khaali haath wapas aao.” Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya known to grab headlines tweeted about De, “Unstoppable shameless besharam budhiyas abusing and cursing their own motherland, own children, own talents.” Sonam, who has a history of issues with Shobhaa however, took up for her this time and she called the singer a hypocrite. Kudos to Sonam for setting aside her own problems with the writer and speaking the truth.
