Jacqueline Fernandez says she is tired and skips her film’s song launch, but attends a luxury brand’s store opening at the same venue two hours later

Tiger Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez, lead pair of A Flying Jatt, were supposed to unveil a song from the superhero film across three cities on Thursday. However, after marking her presence at the scheduled events in Ahmedabad and Surat, Jacqueline strangely went missing from the Mumbai leg. Instead, the actress chose to attend the store opening of a high-end handbag label at the same venue in Lower Parel two hours later.
Says a source, “The Mumbai event was to begin by 7.45 pm. The film’s team, including Tiger and director Remo D’Souza, waited an hour for Jacqueline. Tired of waiting, they decided to start the event without her. But, the crew was surprised to see her at a store launch at the same hotel at around 10pm.”
Adds the source, “Tiger, Jacqueline and Remo landed in Mumbai by the same flight. However, she chose not to drive to the venue. She did not even bother to inform them that she wouldn’t be able to make it for whatever reason.”
When quizzed about skipping the song launch by mediapersons present at the brand event, Jacqueline said travelling across three cities in a single day had left her exhausted. Another source says, “Celebrities tend to be paid a bomb to make appearances at luxury brand launches. So, it is obvious that they prefer to be part of such events.”
Jacqueline remained unavailable for comment while the film’s spokesperson says, “She was not supposed to attend the last [Mumbai] event.” Well, we wonder why the official invite had Jacqueline’s name then!
