In the upcoming thriller Fever, three women - Bond girl Caterina Murino (Casino Royale), Gemma Atkinson and Gauahar Khan - vie for Rajeev Khandelwal's attention. The actor, who got along very well with his co-stars, often pulled a fast one on his unsuspecting colleagues.

We hear that when Rajeev was to shoot a pivotal love-making sequence, Gemma planned to get back at him. Contrary to the norm where only the essential crew is allowed on the set during the filming of an intimate scene, Gemma ensured that every unit member was present, much to her co-actor's surprise. She further shocked Rajeev when she removed her top, resulting in jaw-dropped faces on the set. They realised that they had been fooled only when Gemma revealed that she was wearing a layer she called 'chicken fillet', also known as nude bras.

Confirming the incident, director Rajeev Jhaveri says, “The lovemaking sequences are quite intense and explicit. However, they are important and realistic in the context of the film's story. The way Gemma pulled it off having the whole team in splits, made the process easier and fun.“

Fever, presented by Karan Devgan (Niche Film Farm) and Rajath Manjunath (Jaya Sapthagiris Productions) in association with Ravi Agrawal (Plus Entertainment Pvt Ltd) and Ajay Chabbria (ICM Entertainment Pvt. Ltd), releases on August 5.
