Be it on the sets of their upcoming film or at parties and film screenings, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have not seen eye-to-eye since their breakup in January. They just about manage to stay professional on set. At a party on Wednesday night, they again missed each other and it seemed well planned. RK arrived early and left within half an hour. A little after her ex-beau had departed Kat walked in stylishly. A source revealed that the team of both the actors were keeping a tab on the timings so that the duo don't cross paths.

Still smarting from a bitter split, Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor avoid crossing paths yet again

It has been over six months since Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif called time on a fairytale romance, but they haven’t been able to let go of the bitterness just yet. The former lovebirds have been consciously avoiding parties hosted by common friends.

But, when an event demands that both be present, what do they do? Exactly what they had resorted to at an exhibition in Delhi five months ago.

Ranbir and Katrina attended an awards function hosted by a fashion glossy on Wednesday evening, but timed their entry to stay out of each other’s paths. “Ranbir walked in at around 8.45 pm. The organisers had been waiting for him to start the event. He left at 10 pm and minutes later, Katrina entered the venue,” said an onlooker.

Last February, the two made an appearance at an expo in Delhi while ensuring that they did not come face-to-face. Only after RK, who was endorsing a two-wheeler, left the venue that Kat arrived for the promotions of a high-end vehicle. “At award ceremonies, the entry of celebs is normally planned in advance to avoid awkward situations. So, in this case too, staff of the exes made sure that they didn’t run into each other, what with the media keeping a keen eye on them,” an industry veteran explained.

Sources say Katrina has taken the breakup especially hard. “When trouble started brewing in paradise, she made several efforts to save the relationship. However, the inevitable happened,” added a source. They will be seen together in Anurag Basu’s long-in-the-making detective drama, Jagga Jasoos, which is Ranbir’s maiden co-production. The shoot wrapped up in May end. The actors remained unavailable for comment.
