Composer A R Rahman is set to perform live in Britain. The A R Rahman UK Intimate Tour will showcase a mix of eastern classical, modern electro, world music and traditional orchestral arrangements. It kicks off in London's SSE Arena Wembley on September 22, then heads to Birmingham Barclay card Arena on September 24. For the first time, the Mozart of Madras will perform in Leeds on September 29 and Manchester the following day. Most of the shows are already sold out.

“After the successful Intimate tour in the US last year, we wanted to bring it to the UK. The show has all kinds of songs; some are Hindi, some Punjabi. “The Intimate tour is all about intimacy and seeing you face to face, and I look forward to seeing you all very soon,“ Rahman wrote on his Facebook page on Sunday.
