Alia Bhatt who insists she’d like him to work with everyone and that she’d never restrict him in any way

By most accounts, the Alia Bhatt-Sidharth Malhotra relationship has run into choppy waters. Word is, she asked him not to do another film with his Ek Villain co-star Shraddha Kapoor and that he was upset with her for signing Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya opposite Varun Dhawan, who she was linked with, at one point.

Not reining Sid in
Ask her to comment on the rumours and she exclaims, “Oh God! So that’s how this whole thing about me being upset with Shraddha started? Let me just say this loud and clear — I am single and Sid is a supportive and extremely important friend in my life and will always be that. As a friend, rather than asking him not to do films with any actress, I keep telling Sid to work with every person because I think he has all the charm, talent and sexiness in the world and the potential to become the biggest superstar of this country! Never in my life, will we ever tell each other what we should or should not do.”

Special seconds
She adds that Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya is a very special project and not just for her. “It’s a very special project for Varun, director Shashank Khaitan and me. We are all coming back together for the second time.”
