Sanjay Dutt has also been a gadget junkie. He’s a geek at heart who loves his toys —whether it is the latest phones or notepads, he’s always up-to-date. Given that, one would expect him to use digital pens and more sophisticated stuff for jotting down his thoughts or communicating with the rest of the world. But no, he’s gone back to the basics.

While Dutt still remains tech-savvy, post his stint in prison, the star has gone back to one thing — the charming style of writing with a pen and a paper, which were very important to him there.

Says a source close to Dutt, “Prior to serving time in prison, paper and pen barely featured in his life. He developed this habit during his term in jail as that’s the only tools of communication that was allowed. There is no access to phone at all. Every prisoner is given stationery or they can buy it. Sanjay was writing letters to a lot of people. Even now, while the cell phone and text messaging options are there, you will find also find him carrying a pen and paper. His bedside table today always has a paper and pen on it, so whenever he feels like writing, he can do it.”
