MLA Baba Siddiqui's iftaar parties have always been the talk of the town - if not for the sumptuous spread then for the Salman Khan-Shah Rukh Khan patchup. Their jadoo ki jhappis at these annual bashes grabbed headlines in 2013 and 2014 and has become synonymous with the truce of the decade. This Sunday, the bash is being hosted at a five-star hotel in Bandra and despite the presence of big names from cinema, politics and business, all eyes will be on Bhai, who is expected to make an appearance with his steady date, Iulia Vantur.

The first time the two made a public appearance at Preity Zinta and Gene Goodenough's wedding reception, the actor chose to walk ahead of the 35-year-old-Romanian model cheekily pointing out that she had come with his sister Alvira, instead. Earlier this month, Iulia returned from Budapest with Salman but he exited the airport minutes before her ,even though the couple drove away in the same car.

This time too, Salman doesn't want to make a big deal of his joint entry. He has asked Alvira to accompany Iulia and him and made it a couples gathering. It was Salman's idea to host the celebrations for both men and women this year. He asked Baba to send invites asking guests to come to the party with their wives or girlfriends. "Salman, Alvira, Reshma Shetty suggested that we invite women too. This iftaar dinner will be the first one where women will break their fast alongside men in India," Baba Siddique informed Mirror.
