Reeth Mazumder, who recently made her Bollywood debut with A Scandall, is pleased with the response to the film. Though initially, the actress, who has acted in a few international films, was upset that the movie wasn't slotted properly in multiplexes, she was glad that the positive feedback eventually helped it to find visibility. She says, “There were quite a few releases last weekend but we got to know only on Thursday that we had been shunned by multi-screen theatres. It was disheartening. Thankfully, few encouraging reviews and word of mouth helped us find a place.“

Talking about the praise that she has garnered for her bold performance, she adds, “It's a lot more difficult when you don't hail from a filmi family. It takes courage to cast new faces, especially when the banner is not big. I'm happy that people have liked my performance. Also, multiplexes should understand that whether big or small, every film deserves its presence. They can't back off at the last minute.“
