While various Bollywood
actors Priyanka Chopra, Irrfan, like Sonakshi Sinha have lent their
voices for animation films, Arjun Kapoor is the latest to follow
suit. Incidentally, the actor will be seen mimicking a few Bollywood
actors in his voice-over debut, including chachu Anil Kapoor and his
patent
jhakaas. “Mimicking Anil chachu was fun as it came out naturally. While
imitating Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Dutt as Circuit and Munnabhai was
also interesting, it was quite challenging too,“ he revealed.
Speaking of his first VO experience, the actor says, “I chose to give my voice to the character of Buck in the Hindi dub of Hollywood adventure Ice Age: Collision Course because he is loud and totally filmi. I've always been drawn to animation films. It brings out the child in me. Opening my mind to the thought of doing a voice-over was quite thrilling. You get to say the lines that you may not be able to say otherwise. I decided to have fun with it.“
Arjun also revealed that Seth MacFarlane is outstanding in this field and thus his favourite, when it comes to VO artists.
