HOUSEFULL 3 did good business in the first week grossing around 80 crore nett to become the highest first week grosser of 2016. The film had a good weekend and held up well on the weekdays. The film has done good business in Delhi / UP, East Punjab, Rajasthan, CP Berar, CI and Gujarat/Saurashtra. The Mysore collections are also pretty good for the genre. Nizam/Andhra had a record day one for an Akshay Kumar starrer but competition from a Telugu film meant average business in week one.

The film crossed 25 crore nett in Mumbai thanks to a good 11 crore nett contribution from Gujarat/Saurashtra which is almost 45% for the circuit.

The film should hold well in week two as the new films are not likely to make much impact where HOUSEFULL 3 is doing well. The release of UDTA PUNJAB is still up in the air and if that film is delayed it will prove a big plus for HOUSEFULL 3 which will get a run till SULTAN arrives in early July.
