HOUSEFULL 3 did pretty well on Saturday as it grossed 16.25 crore nett though the trend could have eben better. The business is good in multiplexes (except South) and average in single screens The two day business of HOUSEFULL 3 is as follows

The film should show good growth on Sunday especially in the core Hindi circuits but it will be dependent on where Monday finishes so it can get a good two week run before the next major release UDTA PUNJAB.

HOUSEFULL 3 had a good first weekend of 52.75 crore nett making it the first time that an Akshay Kumar starrer has crossed 50 crore nett. The previous best being 47.50 crore nett of BROTHERS which had the the Independence Day holiday on day two. The film scored at multiplexes but was average in single screens. The weekend business of HOUSEFULL 3 is as follows

Total - 52,75,00,000 apprx

The film has followed a very similar trend to last years comedy WELCOME BACK. The difference is that WELCOME BACK had a lower start but more growth on Saturday though HOUSEFULL 3 has more growth on Sunday.

The Friday to Sunday growth is similar for both films. WELCOME BACK from a 14 crore nett day one went to 50.50 crore nett weekend and HOUSEFULL 3 has gone from a 15 crore nett weekend to 52.75 crore nett.
