Hrithik Roshan may be going through a harrowing time courtesy a bitter fight with Kangana Ranaut, but that seems to have brought him closer to ex wife Sussanne Khan. Last week, Sussanne tweeted a picture of them in happier times in a show of support to the 42-year-old actor as he battled accusations from the Queen actress about their “clandestine affair”. And yesterday morning, the former couple was spotted at a SoBo restaurant enjoying lunch with their kids, Hrehaan, 10, and Hridhaan, 8.

A source says, “It was Hridhaan’s birthday yesterday and they all went out for lunch like one happy family to a Santa Cruz restaurant. This was perhaps the first time since their divorce in November 2014 that Hrithik and Sussanne together hung out with the kids. They looked comfortable in each other’s company; they smiled and laughed a lot.”

The ex couple were also joined by actress Sonali Bendre, Sussanne’s sister, Farah Khan Ali and sister- inlaw Malaika Parekh (Zayed Khan’s wife). “Being doting parents that they are, Hrithik and Sussanne wanted to make Hridhaan’s birthday a memorable affair,” adds the source.
