The rivalry between Kapil Sharma and Krushna Abhishek is well known. Krushna replaced Kapil on the comedy show made popular by the latter, while Kapil moved on to host his new show. However, what has fuelled the rivalry further is Mika Singh's decision to appear on The Kapil Sharma Show. It is to be noted that Mika had replaced Navjot Singh Sidhu on Krushna's Comedy Nights Live. Now, the channel has sent a notice to Kapil's production house and the broadcaster asking them to refrain from airing the episode featuring Mika.

Says a source associated with Kapil's show, “What's the fuss about? Isn't Mika shooting for a music reality show, which airs around the same time on another channel? He is not joining us as a permanent fixture. He was there as a celebrity guest. Mika has been visiting Kapil quite often because he shoots next door and they are friends.“

Preeti Simoes, creative director of Kapil's show, says, “Mika came to promote his new songs and there is nothing more to it. We hosted him like any other celebrity who comes on the show.“ Apparently, Team Krushna was not aware of this. Krushna expresses shock, “I had no clue that Mika was planning to shoot with them. I would have stopped him as this is a conflict of interest.“

Despite repeated attempts, we couldn't Mika for comment.
