Hindi may not be their strength, but that turned out to be Jacqueline Fernandez, Lisa Haydon and Nargis Fakhri's biggest advantage while filming Housefull 3. We guess this made their bonding stronger. Says Jacqueline, “All these years, I have been trying so hard to learn and speak in Hindi for my films, and here I have a reason to rejoice for my Hindi being imperfect. I am not saying that my Hindi is too bad, but as a foreigner, I don't speak it well. So, in a way, we were able to bring authenticity to our characters.“

The three actresses shared a great camaraderie off the camera. She says, “Lisa and I gave our first audition together in Delhi for a fashion week, and this was before we even signed movies. We shared the same room, discussing our future. It is really cool to see her growth in the industry. I know Nargis as she had performed an item number in Kick. It was nice to have all that female energy, which is sometimes missing on a set. And we were so united that the guys could never get to play their pranks on us. In fact, we gave them a taste of their own medicine. Actors need to connect with each other while filming a comedy like this one.“

Since she has been part of the previous two instalments (she did an item song in the first one) of the franchise, did she play the senior card with freshers Lisa and Nargis? “No way, it was girl power all the way. In fact, I learnt a thing or two from them. Lisa's comic timing is amazing and she can make people laugh. She didn't need any tips or advice. Nargis is carefree and unintentionally funny. It was an interesting combination of different personalities.“
