Commando was a sleeper hit that surprised everyone with the spectacular action involved. Four years later, the film is coming up with a sequel. Vidyut Jammwal and Pooja Chopra have been retained from the original, but welcome the new entrant in the Commando team, Esha Gupta.

While Esha’s inclusion in the sequel is no secret anymore, we have heard an interesting update about her role. An insider reveals, “Esha is the main villain in the film. Her character is opposite Vidyut’s and the two have to fight it out to the finish line. This is the first time Esha will turn negative in her career.”

The villainous role has Esha excited. The source adds, “Although Pooja is the leading lady, she doesn’t have a prominent role here. Esha has a bigger role and the film is about the Vidyut vs Esha angle.”

The actress is now prepping up for her film. “Esha, too, will have some brilliant action scenes and sequences to shoot for Commando 2. The actress is currently training in martial art for the same. After all, she has to match up to Vidyut’s calibre and it’s going to be difficult,” the source tells us.
