With his last few films Baby and Airlift, Akshay Kumar just showed he’s as adept with intense drama as he is with death-defying stunts. And now, with Housefull 3, he’s returned to a space he enjoys — one where he gets to draw laughs from the audience.

With Housefull 3, he doesn’t just return to comedy, he also gets to groove with a foot-tapping track called Taang Uthake. The song that released yesterday is on its way to become the next party anthem. It has already created a lot of buzz online and has garnered several views. Akshay’s fans have loved the fun, peppy and groovy dance number that they got to see him in after a while.

Of the song, Akshay says, “It is a very high-energy track and we had a lot of fun while shooting it. Each time it plays you can’t not tap your feet to it. What I love the most about it is the title and the hook step.” Producer Sajid Nadiadwala adds, “It is after a while that we are seeing Akshay do an out-and-out dance number. The response to the song has been very good. They are all looking so good.”
