Nargis Fakhri will be seen wearing a nauvari sari in Banjo. Riteish Deshmukh plays a Maharashtrian boy in the film and in this particular scene he dreams about Nargis in the attire as he imagines her as his wife. Costume designer Divya Gambhir designed Nargis’s nauvari look and it took her over two hours to get ready. The actress plays the role of a DJ who is from New York. Director Ravi Jadhav says, “I always try to carry the image of Maharashtra in my cinema and in Banjo too, one shall get to see many elements of the Maharashtrian culture. I personally believe and feel that Nargis looks extremely beautiful and elegant in the sari.”
