The trade is abuzz that filmmaker Omung Kumar's Legend Studios (which he partners with producer Sandeep Singh) is joining hands with music honcho and producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series for multiple films - a thriller, a real life story, a romantic film and a drama.

Currently, Omung is one of the finer talents in Bollywood. He won the National Award for his debut film Mary Kom. The trailer of his second film Sarbjit, a biopic on the life of a Punjab farmer - who inadvertently crossed the border and was incarcerated in Pakistan because he was mistaken for a Indian spy - has generated excitement. This film is also produced by Bhushan and Omung's company.

Confirming the news, Omung's partner, Sandeep said, “I am glad we have the opportunity to tell stories through the medium of cinema. This association with Bhushan will make sure that our films reach a wider audience.“ Bhushan adds, “Omung is a great director and we're thrilled with the way he has made Sarbjit. We are committed to making content-driven films and are excited to be working with him on multiple films.''
