It is being said that film
maker Karan Johar will return with his controversial television chat
show Koffee With Karan (KWK) after his Diwali release Ae Dil Hai Mushkil
that has Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in
the lead.
Confirming the news, Karan who is currently judging another reality show on TV, says, “Koffee With Karan is great fun. I love it and enjoy hosting it.“ Smiling mischievously, he adds, “It causes certain panic, but it is the kind of panic that is good. We are in the business of creating little confusion and drama and why not? I am a member of the media myself and I am all for journalists. I have no problem saying it. I will not call a journalist and ask - 'Hey, why did you write this?' because I know their line of work.“ He is quick to add that there is a downside too. Says KJo, “Of course, sometimes people get very carried away, especially these days. Social media is crazy. Boundaries have been crossed. Yet, I know that journalists have a job and I respect that.“
Coming back to his chat show, he continues, “I love doing Koffee With Karan. It is most entertaining, but it is also irritating to make those celebrity combinations and then coordinate with them to get their dates. However, it is a small price to pay for such a fun show. I am proud to say that it is in its 11th year now and is watched all over the world. But more than anything, I absolutely love sitting on that sofa and behaving like I know everything about everything.“
