We were the first to tell
you that Saif Ali Khan will act in the Hindi adaptation of the 2014
Hollywood comedy-drama, Chef. The actor, known for his suave and uber
cool characters on screen, is now readying to dish out a perfectly baked
role - served hot! What is most interesting is that just like the
original, the adaptation too will have a food truck that will drive
through India across five cities, which are known for their food
culture.
It has now been confirmed that Raja Krishna Menon (of Airlift fame) will helm the project, which is being jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar and Vikram Malhotra. The film is in its final stages of scripting and will go on floors in September.
Saif is presently undergoing training to get the nuances of a chef right before he starts shooting. The movie will be an emotional story about relationships and self-discovery through an endearing journey.
