Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan may have been pitted against each other when they made their debuts in Saawariya and Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na respectively, but the duo has shared a good relationship over the years. They hung out together with common friends at a private dinner hosted by chef Gresham Fernandes in suburban Mumbai. Actress Shriya Saran, restaurateur Riyaaz Amlani, Colombian chef Pablo Naranjo Agular and entrepreneur Pooja Dhingra were also in attendance. “Gresham, who recently returned from Tokyo, invited friends to sample exotic Japanese dishes. Everyone loved the experimental fare,“ says a guest. The lavish spread included marinated quail eggs, onion salad with tuna, haddock roe and coconut tea. “It was an impromptu get-together which went on for three-four hours. Imran, his wife Avantika and Ranbir were spotted catching up and mingling with the other guests,“ informs the source, while, Imran revealed on social media, “Shoutout to the guys who made last night truly epic: Grehsam and Riyaaz Amlani. I owe you guys a homemade lasagne.“

The guests were also treated to foot-tapping Japanese music and memorable numbers from Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill.
