Nothing seems to be going right in Ranbir Kapoor’s life and career at the moment. While his relationship status is at the moment uncertain, his career too is in search of a silver lining, what with his last four films under-performing at the boxoffice and his proposed next film Jagga Jasoos shrouded in uncertainty. One now hears that Ranbir’s ambitious super-hero film directed by his best friend Ayan Mukerji has been shelved.

According to a reliable source, “Producer Karan Johar no longer finds an Indian superhero film financially feasible since there are so many of them being done in Hollywood with much more resources at their disposal. Besides, Karan’s friend choreographer Remo d’Souza is also directing a super-hero film with Tiger Shroff. So it’s a no for Ayan’s superhero film.”

Ayan, who is very close to Ranbir, has so far delivered two successful films Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani with Ranbir in the lead for Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
