Garima Goel, who has appeared in shows like Crime Patrol Savdhaan India, and was also and recently seen in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, was poisoned by her domestic help Santosh a few days ago. The actress, who stays with her husband, son and brother in Khar, had an argument with her domestic over not preparing the food she had asked for. Sometime later, the family had the dal-chawal the cook had prepared. Soon after which they complained of breathlessness and were rushed to a hospital. She says, “My brother Raghav had eaten very little, so he managed to take us all to the hospital. He even ran upstairs to the terrace where Santosh used to sleep but by that time he had already escaped. The hospital confirmed that we were poisoned and an FIR has been lodged. It was just too shocking! I have acted in many crime-based shows but I never imagined something like this would happen to me. He clearly wanted to poison us because he felt there was a lot of cash in the house which he could escape with.“

Santosh has been arrested by the police and investigations are on.
