Actor Samir Soni's father, who was suffer ing from a prolonged illness, passed away in Delhi on Tuesday. On receiving the news, the actor, along with his wife Neelam, immediately left for the Capital. He tweeted on Tuesday night, “Goodbye Dad, will try to be half the man you were.“ (sic) Speaking to BT, he said, “My father Raghbir Soni was a humble man who worked hard and made sure that his three sons studied in top universities.“

The last rites will be performed today.
