MUMBAI MIRROR (March 14, 2016)

In Jaipur, internationally acclaimed Iranian filmmaker, Majid Majidi, is prepping up for his upcoming as-yet-untitled film which will be shot entirely in India in collaboration with Indian filmmakers Shareen Mantri and Kishor Arora. They are on a recce in Rajasthan before they head further North later this week.

Majidi was to fly down to Mumbai for an interaction but has decided not to speak about the film at the moment given its controversial subject. However he told Mirror, “I'm always glad to visit India because its terrain and culture offers so much diversity and intrigue. We are currently in Jaipur and will visit a few more towns across this state. This film has led me to explore locations through India and the recce has ensured that my discovery of India is a unique experience in itself.“
