Anurag Basu’s long-in-the-making Jagga Jasoos was speculated to have been hit following the lead couple Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif ’s recent split with gossip mills suggesting that they are mostly shooting separately. However, we hear that the film is pretty much on track and the first teaser will be launched next month.

Says a source, “The shoot is taking place as per schedule and the producers are gearing up to launch the first teaser next month.” Contrary to reports that the film’s Morocco schedule had been cancelled, the former couple is expected to fly out to the North African country in a fortnight or so. At a recent event too, Ranbir, who is co-producing the detective drama, had laid to rest rumours of the film getting delayed.

Corroborating the actor’s statement, a source working on the film says, “Yes, there were a few issues with the film but Ranbir and Katrina are thorough professionals and know what they need to do. Currently, the shoot of the film is going on and it will be ready for release in August. The post production work is also being carried out simultaneously, so there is nothing to worry.”

Ranbir and spokesperson of the production studio remained unavailable for comment.
