Kamal Haasan and Paresh Rawal join forces on screen once again (after 18 long years; they were last seen together in Chachi 420) for a Hindi-Tamil bilingual, directed by Rajeev Kumar.
Kamal (a Tamilian) and Paresh (a Gujarati) both play Bengali characters and the former’s daughter, Shruti plays his daughter in the film.
Kamal is excited about the reunion. He adds, “It’s a pleasure to work with a sturdy, reliable co-star like Paresh. Look at Tom Hardy in The Revenant. See what he has done to his character and how he has supported Leonardo DiCaprio’s performance. Hardy is the best from the West since Marlon Brando. It would be a pleasure to work with a co-star like him.”
Kamal Haasan is still in New York scouting locations for his film.
