While Sridevi has consistently denied reports of her daughters gearing up for Bollywood over the years, it has now emerged that her firstborn, Jhanvi Kapoor, is currently ensconced at the famed Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Los Angeles.

The teen, who was reportedly gravitating towards a career in fashion designing till a while ago, is now prepping up to follow in her mother's footsteps which explains enrolling for the acting course across the seven seas. While it remains to be seen if the star daughter will go on to chart a successful path in the Hindi film industry like the other Kapoors, it's interesting to note that Lee Strasberg has served as a rite of passage for a string of preceding star kids, including Ranbir Kapoor and Rahul Khanna, and former Maharashtra chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh's son, Riteish Deshmukh.
