Dev Patel is going to be one of the key presenters at the Oscars this year. The actor, best known for his Slumdog Millionaire performance like his ex-girlfriend Freida Pinto, has made a place for himself in American films and television shows.

While the details of his presentation are being kept hush-hush, it is believed that he will be presenting one of the major categories that night and is also believed to be doing it slightly differently.

Dev was in India in December to promote his film Ramanujan : The Man Who Knew Infinity that opened at IFFI in Goa. The film will release in India on April 29 this year.
