After ringing in hubby
Abhishek Bachchan's 40th birthday with the family in Maldives, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
is back on the sets of Omung Kumar's Sarbjit biopic, now in its third
schedule. The 42-year-old actress who will shoot across several locations
in Punjab in a month-long schedule, was spotted at the Golden Temple in
Amritsar on Friday as she filmed with co-star Richa Chadha, who plays
Sarabjit Singh's wife.
“Work began on the week-long Amritsar schedule on Tuesday. The team will shoot in places that played a crucial part in Sarabjit's life,“ says a source from the production.
Ash plays Dalbir Kaur, sister of the late Sarabjit Singh, who was captured by Pakistan in 1991 and tried on charges of terrorism in 2013. While the actress was earlier spotted looking older than her years in a drab kurta, glasses and greying hair, on the sets in the outskirts of Mumbai (December 18), the Amritsar schedule features Dalbir in a younger avatar.
