With each passing day and, more more details about the Katrina Kaif-Ranbir Kapoor split keep surfacing. A couple of days ago, a picture of Katrina's car parked outside her old apartment, Guldev Sagar on Waterfield Road, Bandra, made headlines. Speculation was rife that after her split with Ranbir, she had moved lock, stock and barrel into her former pad. But when we dug deeper, here's what we found. The actress is still staying at the couple's love nest - the penthouse in Silver Sands on Carter Road that was assumed to be empty.

A source tells us, “On Tuesday, I saw Katrina return home at 4.30 am. Though her schedule is a little packed these days and she has far more late nights, she comes back to this house. Ranbir hasn't been seen here since last Wednesday. Earlier, we would often spot them together but in the last one week, he hasn't come here.“ When we visited Katrina's former home on Waterfield Road, this information was confirmed. The watchman confidently told us, “Gaadi yahan par park hoti hai lekin madam toh kaafi mahino se yahan nahin aayi hai (her car is often parked here but she hasn't come here since many months).“

KATRINA IS NOT INVITED...
Meanwhile, Ranbir is getting comfortable in his new Wilson Apartments home on Hill Road. The actor is staying on the building's top floor, where he moved a week ago. His car left the building at 1.30 am on Wednesday night and went to Krishna Raj.

A source tells us that he even hosted a small party there last weekend, which was attended by his friends from the industry. With a bevy of celebs driving in and out, an otherwise quiet street tucked away in Bandra is basking in the glory of its newfound star status. Apparently, Ranbir often takes late-night walks on the street, with his bodyguards for company, of course.

One also heard that RK junior reportedly extended the lease of their love nest a few months ago. The celebrity couple, who has been staying there since October 2014, is said to be coughing up a hefty rent of around Rs 12 lakh per month. The deposit on the flat runs into crores. Revisiting old details, know-alls say that Kat selected all the artefacts for the house, and overall expenditure once again ran into a huge amount.

In the weeks leading to the breakup, Bollywood's golden couple allegedly had many arguments. Pujas were done on a regular basis to bring 'peace' in their relationship.

However, it is said that Ranbir was beginning to feel a bit stifled in recent times. We heard that the actor moved his belongings out of their home when Katrina wasn't around.
