Vinay narrated the story to the 36-year-old actress a month-and-a-half ago and she immediately jumped on board. “She has some superb action in the climax and she will make an entry with paragliding,“ informs the filmmaker, adding that Prakash Raj was supposed to play the don earlier but opted out over date issues. “Pankajji gave his nod in a week's time. It's an honour to work with him.“
Justifying his choice of Bipasha, he says he wanted a tough actress for the role and she fits it to the T. Sunil Grover plays a tribal in the film who helps her.
The story is set in the forests on the Nepal China border but the major shooting will be done in Kanchanaburi jungles, a four-hour drive from Bangkok. “I will be shooting a small portion with Sunil from January 5 in Nepal, post which we will head to Bangkok in February for a 45-day schedule,“ he says. Singer Mika Singh is composing the music.
