Shah Rukh Khan has proved yet again that he is one of the few actors who never shies away from doing his bit for the society.
Last week, we had reported about how stars from the South Indian film industry were trying to help people affected by the Chennai floods. Now, we hear that SRK has donated Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, to help those struck by the natural calamity.
"Yes, Shah Rukh has donated some money to the Chief Minister Relief Fund for the people who have been affected by floods. However, I do not want to disclose the amount. He (SRK) firmly believes that charity should never be discussed," says a source close to the actor.
Also, the team of 'Dilwale' is planning to go to Chennai soon and help the people affected in every possible way.
When contacted the star's spokesperson confirmed the news.
