HATE STORY 3 did good weekend business thanks to business in UP, CP Berar, CI, Nizam and Maharashtra (outside Mumbai city and Pune). The best day was the first day but this can happen with this genre especially when it opens well. The daily first weekend business of HATE STORY 3 is as follows.

Although the film will find it hard to sustain even in its best circuits, the weekend business is enough to pull it through. HATE STORY grossed 12 crore nett and HATE STORY 2 grossed 23 crore nett and HATE STORY 3 is similar to Hate Story 2 in three days. The costs have also gone up but HATE STORY 3 should emerge the biggest success in this franchise so far.

HATE STORY 3 dropped 55% apprx from its Friday business which is a more than the normal Monday drop but its not too bad for this genre. The daily first four day business of Hate Story 3 is as follows.

The first week seems to be heading for 34 crore nett which is pretty good. If comparing with similar type of films it will beat JISM 2 though it may fall short of the business of RAGINI MMS 2 which till date is the highest grossing film in the erotic thriller genre though the box office of that film was hugely aided by the song Baby Doll which was probably the biggest hit song of 2014.
