Fawad Khan's plans to resume shooting for an upcoming film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, in London on Monday was hit for a six after the actor was diagnosed with pneumonia. Now, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma will continue filming their portions while they wait for an ailing Fawad to join the team after getting a go-ahead from his doctor. It's only a cameo appearance and Fawad will not be required for more than four-five days. However, the actor from across the border was scheduled to fly down to India from the Queen's City to shoot for another under-production love story, Kapoor & Sons. It was a two-three-day schedule with Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. But for now, he is on bed rest back home in Pakistan. And according to a source close to the actor, it'll be a few days before he knows when he can be up and about. Meanwhile, the makers of both the films are yet to take a call on whether the ailing actor will be sent to London first or will fly down to India directly.

Fawad, who rang in his 34th birthday on November 29 with wife Sadaf in Goa and cut a cake in Mumbai with Khoobsurat co-star Sonam Kapoor (Mirror, December 2), had been under the weather even then but it was only when he returned to Pakistan and visited a doctor that he discovered that he had pneumonia.
