As luck and destiny would have it, the two Christmas biggies Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani and Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale were up for Censor certification on the same day, that is Wednesday. Alas, man proposes, post-production disposes.

Dilwale couldn’t be ready on time and had to announce their inability to keep the Censor appointment. Says a source from the Board, “The film’s producers were keen and insistent that they get an appointment for certification on Wednesday. We accommodated them. In fact, both Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani were scheduled to be viewed by us on the same day. Unfortunately, Dilwale couldn’t make it in time.”

Apparently Rohit Shetty is taking a little longer with the automobile stunts than expected. “Lekin woh kya kehte hain? Sabr ka phal meetha hota hai,” says a source close to Dilwale.
