Things Bollywood stars can't do but want to

ANIL KAPOOR: SING ALONG...
I had agreed to do a film with Kundan Shah for which I tried to learn skating but I couldn't pull it off and had to opt out. How much can you cheat on screen? Skating, swimming, horse-riding... These are skills you should learn as a child. So skating is out for me but I can learn how to sing and play a musical instrument. That is something I have always wanted to do and which the body would still allow!

SAIF ALI KHAN: FRENCH LESSONS
I can read and write French but I am not very good at it. I have been thinking of engaging a teacher and brushing up on the language. Ditto the guitar. I can play it but it's time I learnt to play it really well.

SUNNY DEOL: KEYING A PIANO
There are several things I want to do like snowboarding but can't because of my bad back. What I can do is learn how to play a musical instrument, like the piano. I've loved music ever since I was a child. Today, when I sit down with my composers, I wish that instead of trying to explain what I want, I could play it for them. That might make it easier for them. My upcoming directorial, Ghayal Once Again has some nice ones.

TABU: RIDING TALL
I want to learn riding. My sister Farah is an expert equestrian but I was thrown off a horse the first time I sat on one, with my Saajan Chale Sasural co-actors, Govinda and Karisma, for the film's publicity campaign. We later sat on a wall and pretended to ride. Years later, a polo sequence choreographed by Mahendra Verma for Ravi Chopra's Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai was filmed on me but all I had to do was sit on a horse without actually riding it.

ABHAY DEOL: ECO-FRIENDLY HOMES
I wish I had studied architecture, that's something I developed interest in late in life. I have built one house in Goa. The interactions with my architects fuelled my interest in it even further. I have been reading up on the latest in green technologies, including solar rain water harvesting, one sit or ganic farming etc. I have added these features to the building. It's a skill that needs time and education. I hope I can continue learning it as I make films.

KATRINA KAIF: GETTING GROOVY
I enjoy dancing, there are so many different forms, every one of them fascinating. There is a lot I have already learnt thanks to my acting career, including belly dancing for “Sheila Ki Jawani“. Given a chance, I would happily train in a new style any day, every day.
FREIDA PINTO: SKI-LLING IT IN THE WEST
I would love to give skiing a shot. Growing up in Mumbai you don't think of it as an outdoor option at all. But now that I have been living in the West with long winters, skiing is something I'd love to try.
