SPECTRE did well on its first day grossing around 6-6.25 crore nett takings its total to 8 crore nett plus including paid previews. The previous Bond film SKYFALL had grossed around 4.75 crore nett on day one. The opening is good but big Hollywood releases have gone towards the 10 crore nett range now.

The film should grow well over the weekend especially on Saturday. SKYFALL grossed around 45 crore nett in India and SPECTRE is on course to beat as long as Saturday shows a upward trend. The collections outside the big centres were not so great with PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO still doing well in those areas.

The Hindi X - Past And Present did not do well with very low collections and will not last at the theatres for long..
