After the blockbuster
Bajrangi Bhaijaan earlier this year, Salman Khan's upcoming Diwali
release, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (PRDP), the quintessential family film is
being eagerly awaited. The superstar, who's treated his audience to
heroic action in his entertainers in the recent years, will show them an
added dimension of his onscreen action this time around.
For the first time, there will be an elaborate sequence showcasing his prowess in sword fencing. The actor, we hear, practised religiously for three weeks to get his moves right. Moreover, on the set too, in-between his shots, Salman would continue with his practice sessions.
On his part, Salman says, “Action without emotion are just fights. Action in Sooraj Barjatya's movies is only about emotion and shot like poetry.“
PRDP marks the reunion of the most eagerly anticipated actor-director duo of Salman and Sooraj Barjatya, after 16 years. Whenever these two have collaborated, they have made magic together. No wonder, the film, which features a huge ensemble cast and sees Sonam Kapoor paired up with Salman for the first time, is so keenly awaited.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, produced by Rajshri Productions Pvt Ltd and presented by Fox Star Studios, releases November 12.
