Irrfan Khan bought a four-bedroom apparent in Andheri at the beginning of this year. He will be moving into it by December end. The family is currently in Rajasthan celebrating Diwali and work on the interiors of the home will resume as soon as they return.

Irrfan is presently residing in Madh Island and had to leave home early to reach the sets, the dubbing studio or even the airport. This move will cut down on the commute as it is more centrally located. However, the actor will keep the Madh Island house and will visit whenever possible. "That house is special for him and he wants it as a retreat of sorts," says a source close to the actor.
