SINGH IS BLIING has made little impact at the box office despite getting a pretty good weekend due to the holiday on day one. The film has grossed around 62 crore nett in week one with collections dropping badly from Monday onwards. The Sunday business of just 14.50 crore nett signalled a downfall but still the film was expected to hold a better better in North India due to the type of film.

The film has grossed 9.50 crore nett in its best circuit East Punjab but that is less than the first week figure of TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS. In Delhi /UP the film has grossed around 15 crore nett which is average. The figures in Mumbai of 17 crore nett are poor.

The Mumbai figure is the lowest for an Akshay Kumar starrer this year. GABBAR IS BACK, BROTHERS and even BABY were all higher. There has been a huge 70% reduction of shows and so an 80% drop week on week is the best it can hope for and even that will not be easy.
